Versions, trash and conflicts
Return to an earlier version or recover a file from trash. History follows moves and renames; simultaneous conflicting edits are both preserved. Basic has fixed limits, while Profi lets you configure them.

Encryption and key management
Encryption protects transfers, stored data and backups in both tiers. We manage the keys in Basic; Profi also offers a customer-managed key option.

MFA and security keys
Profi adds multi-factor authentication for customer accounts as another layer of sign-in protection. Security key support is also planned; available methods will be listed at launch.

Antivirus scanning and quarantine
Profi adds antivirus scanning of uploaded files and quarantine for suspicious content. Scan coverage depends on file format, size and encryption.

Independent and multiple backups
An independent backup is part of both Basic and Profi. Profi adds copies in separate locations so your data does not rely on one storage location.

Regular recovery tests
Creating a backup is only part of the job: recovery matters too. Both tiers include regular testing; Profi adds more frequent verification and individually agreed recovery targets.

Unusual change alerts
Basic alerts you to suspicious volumes of overwrites or deletions. Profi can also pause writes until unusual activity has been investigated.
